After last year's retreat, I'm holding another yoga retreat at Bore Place from Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June 2025. Bore Place, near chiddingstone in Kent, is a 500 acre, organically managed, estate in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The estate runs as a charity, specialising in regenerative farming and is committed to decarbonisation. You can buy their produce on site. There is an abundance of wildlife living in their woodlands including rare wildflowers, birds, deer, badgers and small mammals. Nearby is a reservoir and plenty of walking trails (which can be muddy, so bring some boots!). You can check out Bore Place's website here.

We will be staying in the 19th Century Old Stable which has a large dining area and separate spacious lounge with log burner. There are 11 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and an additional separate toilet. We will be practising yoga across the courtyard in the converted Large Barn. There is high speed wifi in the buildings.

The yoga classes will be suitable for all levels. I will give demonstrations, verbal explanations and modifications, if needed. If you’re not sure about anything, you are always welcome to ask. If you have them, please bring your own mat and yoga props. If you don't have them, please let me know and I will bring some for you to use. If you haven't practised yoga with me, I will send you a health form and please tell me if you have any injuries or medical conditions. There will be spare time to relax and explore the surrounding countryside.

Bore Place, Chiddingstone, Edenbridge, Kent, TN8 7AR is around a 60 to 70 minute drive from Raynes Park, London, SW20. If you are driving, please let me know if you are happy to give a lift to other people. There are direct trains from Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge to Sevenoaks station. From Sevenoaks, it is about a 20 minute taxi journey to Bore Place. Beeline taxis are a local taxi company that knows Bore Place well. It is recommended to pre-book a taxi. A 4 seater taxi is around £30 one way. If you are travelling by train, I can put people in touch who wish to share a taxi.

A Google Review

'In May I went to the yoga retreat at Bore Lodge having done yoga regularly for about 2 years. It was a wonderful weekend, perfectly structured classes and a great balance of theory and practice. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere inclusive and welcoming.'
